Can I raise quail with my chickens?

I have two words: Sticky Thread.
Hear hear!
I suppose then you'll just have to subscribe the thread to get your money instead of having fresh threads for it every other day!

I apologize for hiJacking this thread...
I try to read all of the threads anyway, for educational purposes. When I first started reading about Quail, I didn't know the difference between New World or Old World Quail. Button Quail? I thought a quail was a quail was a quail. And I've been reading since October, and yes, there is plenty more that I can learn... like the BSF link.... I just happened to stumble into feeding insects to chickens. Who knew? AND, initially TopGunB was a newby here, so we can all learn from somebody. I think of it this way: if there weren't people here with patience enough to share their knowledge, imagine the CHAOS that would ensue. And I've been in the boat where I've been frustrated knowing that I did everything I was supposed to be doing, yet the chicks died... sometimes Mother Nature is a Bizzzotch.
When I was in the Marines, I had a Commanding General that would finish up every meetig, weather it was with his Command Staff or those Marines that were shipping out on a training mission, which went along like this: "What did I learn today, What did I teach, and who did I make smile". I never pass on the opportunity to learn, and the time to teach... And everyone is either laughing at me, or laughing with me, but either way, you get only one shot at life and you have to make the best of every chance you get.

I look at it this way...If I am not a better person today from learning something from yesterday, I am doing something wrong. And no matter how much I think I know about a situation, there is ALWAYS more to learn. Learning never stops. And...EVERYBODY here has something to offer. Everybody has a different situation and what works for one, may not work for another.

So...we all live, share, learn and grow and hopefully each one of us can pass down the knowledge we have gained to someone along the journey.
