My Rouen went broody last month & we went out yesterday & saw that she abandoned her nest
The eggs were cold but I brought them in & put them in a homemade incubator & to my delight, 6 of them started moving again ! So far, so good, still moving. I'm keeping things humid & warm, do you have any other tips that would help ? I * think * that they are about day 25 or 26 but they could be a couple days earlier or later than that, I'm not 100% sure. Not sure if this makes any difference in the cycle or not, but the father is a Khaki Campbell & I'm not sure if my Rouen is the mama or not, cause she doesn't lay a lot of eggs, so it will either be a Khaki/Rouen cross or a Khaki/Runner cross. I see a few of them in the air sac ( like small parts, moving, not all the way, of course ), but it doesn't look like an internal pip to me, if that even makes sense.
