My Rouen went broody last month & we went out yesterday & saw that she abandoned her nest :( The eggs were cold but I brought them in & put them in a homemade incubator & to my delight, 6 of them started moving again ! So far, so good, still moving. I'm keeping things humid & warm, do you have any other tips that would help ? I * think * that they are about day 25 or 26 but they could be a couple days earlier or later than that, I'm not 100% sure. Not sure if this makes any difference in the cycle or not, but the father is a Khaki Campbell & I'm not sure if my Rouen is the mama or not, cause she doesn't lay a lot of eggs, so it will either be a Khaki/Rouen cross or a Khaki/Runner cross. I see a few of them in the air sac ( like small parts, moving, not all the way, of course ), but it doesn't look like an internal pip to me, if that even makes sense.

They were internally pipped if you saw them in the air cell

How did they do? Did the Rouen go broody again?
