Roosters wattle looks weird.

Recently, I've noticed that my roosters wattle looks much different, almost like it shriveled up or something. Anybody know what this is and will it go away on it's own? (Yes they sleep on the stove me and my family threw out. They refuse to sleep anywhere else since they got attacked so please don't assume I don't care about my pets .)

Handsome Rooster!

Can you get a photo of him from the front?
Is it just the one wattle, is it shorter than the other now, or is the shriveled looking part in the middle of a long wattle? Hard to tell.
