Hiya, We recently got 8, 4 week old chicks that would now be approx 8-10 weeks old. Unfortunatly we have since lost two but the remaining are looking great. I am wondering what sex they are.

4 Im pretty sure are ladies but im not sure on the other two. Their combs have developed a bit earlier than the other but having done much more in the last week or so. Also one has two random longer curled feathers and nothing else and the other has a longer tail but no curling. Im so hoping only one (or preferably none) are males, Because if its two, one will definatly have to go.

Also If anyone has any idea what breed i would love to know too

Here are some pics

This is the one with the random long feathers

Yup your right, thats the same chicken.

Bugger, Im still holding hope one will magically change into a girl! LOL. I think we actually had 3 roos, but one was taken by a cat, which was a mixed blessing. I suppose i cant keep 2 roos can I
