Thank you again!!!! Ed, your birds are FANTASTIC!!!!! I have them at the house and they have settled right in. The roo is still a bit skittish... but the hens don;t mind me scratching their chins at all

I hope you enjoy the pullets! That Barred Rock is one of my favorites..... a real nice personality

DH was thrilled that I turned down hatching eggs

Darn DH! LOL But as soon as I get a broody.... look out!!!! LMAO

I wish the rain would have held off a bit better

But it was a great time and I am planning to go back in Aug and get some hardware cloth. Hopefully it will be sunny and dry then

In addition to the Le Fleche I got from Ed, I also picked up a little Blue OEGB pullet

I got all of your birds in their pens and they are doing fine.


I wish I had more money on me, I would have me some more swans and geese, but I had to save my money for all the gas we bought from all of the driving we did. I think we put over 600 miles on the truck yesterday. It sure was a long day, but it was fun............................

I know! I saw a pair of Toulouse Geese that I just adored!

They (the La Fleche) are so funny! I had the roo out on my lap last night and he almost fell asleep while I was petting him

I am very pleasantly surprised that while they are still nervous of me, they are still so sweet tempered and mild

I really like their personalities! They sure are good fliers though! LOL

ps..... had some left over mac and cheese noodles from lunch today...... they were tripping over each other AND themselves to get some!!!! LMAO Quite a sight!

I feed my birds table scraps and they will just about knock you over to get to it, all I have to do is go out with the little white bucket and they all come a running........................
