Can I use a standard broody for bantam eggs?

I have a Welsummer sitting on some silkie eggs now. She is very careful and none have broken.

If you'd prefer a bantam broody, I think mypetchicken.com carries silkies. I am pretty sure a lot of people use silkies specifically as broodies.

A large hen on bantam eggs is great--you can fit more under her
