Can I use fenbendazole with Metronidazole?

Just want to be sure--my vet prescribed this for my rooster with canker. I hate to be distrustful, but this vet has let me down before, so I wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

I am not aware of any reason not to use them. @casportpony has more experience in using medicines at the same time. Does the vet think he has a worm issue?

I didn't actually get to see the vet (would've been nice if I had). They were taking animals in one by one and then bringing them back out to the parking lot. One of the assistants asked if he had been eating and I replied that yes, he had, so they probably gave him that because he's a bit thin (which is because he is eating, but not as much as he probably should be due to the canker, which I didn't think to mention at the time).

Worming with fenbendazole is very safe, and in summer, could be helpful.
