Can i use human clyndimyicin for respirtory in my gerhen? Please help she's really sick

My hen is gasping for air I'm trying so hard, I use vet rx but it's not working I have 300 mg human clyndimyicin capsule can I give her some

What are all of the symptoms you are seeing? What is your location in the world? Have you added any new birds recently? Can you look inside her throat for any mucus or yellow material? Respiratory diseases come in differetnkinds—viruses, bacteria, or mold fungus. Antibiotics are only effective against bacterial respiratory diseases, such as mycoplasma (MG) or coryza. Clindamycin is a powerful more for treating teeth abscess, bone infections, lung, and many others. For a respiratory disease caused by MG, Tylosin, tetracyclines, or enrofloxacin would treat that. Coryza is better treated by sulfa antibiotics.
