Can I use one of these for quail? *Photo in thread*

I know that in all likelihood they wouldn't even use the coop and would probably only use the bottom portion. I could remove the ramp and that would make for a more open space at the bottom. I could use the coop as storage or eventually make some adjustments to see if they would go up there. Let me know your thoughts. I have bantams in one right now and I was thinking of getting another one for quail. Thanks!
 
That would work fine. They might actually use the ramp and upper portion. My parents quail have the same type of setup and they use the ramp and go up into the house part. I don’t know if they roost up there but they do use it.

Okay. Thanks. Yes, I've heard of people who have quail that go up ramps and even use similar coops but I didn't know for sure.
 
They might use the ramp, they might not. They are ground birds, so they certainly aren't going to roost there, but some quail have been known to learn to use ramps. Some won't.

It looks pretty sound for quail but really anything can happen I've seen where raccoons can break their legs even through small holes like that
