Can I use Panacur C canine dewormer for chickens?

I am pretty certain one of my chooks has worms. I already have the Panacur for dogs. It is 22.2% Fenbendazole granules. I am seeing that others are using this to deworm. If it is ok, how much should I use and how often? Or should I just wait until the feed store is open tomorrow and get something specifically for chickens? Thanks!

I hope he can tell me how much to give her! I just got back from a long vacation and she seems really droopy. I guess she has been sick for a while and the pet sitter did not notice. I don't want to wait until tomorrow afternoon (when the feed store opens) to start treatment. I gave her some peaches and plain yogurt, which she seemed to enjoy, and some polyvisol, which she did not, but she still seems out of it

Sorry, I've never used panacur granules and cant help you with the dosage. I've used safeguard equine paste and the liquid goat wormer.(10% fenbendazole/panacur.)

Perhaps you can find safeguard liquid goat wormer at the feed store. Dosage is given orally undiluted 1/2cc for standard size birds, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again in 10 days. There's a 14 day withdrawal period after last dosing.
