Can I use paper????

I was wondering if you can use shredded paper instead of pine shavings in the coop. I have a lot of shredded paper. Maybe I can recycle it one more time! Any suggestions?

I use shredded nespaper in the coop. Works well if it stays dry. Wicks away the moisture.
Put down a thick layer of non shredded newspaper first. Then when your cleaning you can just roll it up.
It seems like you need a lot- I put it down about 6 inches deep, but the chickens flatten it in a day or so.
