can i use this as a run?

I have 6 bantams i was going to cover it in hardware mesh, i have a raised coop so overall would be 10x4 space with access to the yard under super vision, and cut an access in the rear of the run to cut through the metal to access from coop

I would say yes, but I think it's too small to satisfy most people here

i went by the square footage for 6 bantams, it would be 40 square feet in total with access to an additional 175 square feet, i just have a lot of hawks/raccoons by me so can’t always let them out

What type are your bantams? If they are pretty little it would make a great home for them.

Oh right, not the largest bantams then.
We used to have our larger chickens in an equivalent size, it wasn't the biggest for them but we gave them outside time every day.

I think if you add maybe a platform to add a bit more space, it will work. My Cochin is very ground dwelling, but I'm not sure about the EEs

They are Still in brooder only a week old and i can do that was thinking of making it two tiers or a few roosts multiple levels

I think that 2 levels and a roost would work. I'm sure the EEs will roost, I'm not sure about the Cochins though
