Can I use this heater from Tractor Supply

Would this be safe to use with a plastic waterer?

It says it's safe for use with metal waterers so I doubt that it is. Brower makes one that is safe for metal or plastic.

That looks like the one I use with a plastic waterer.Not sure if all plastic waterers can be used.They usually specify if they can. Will
