Can I use this humidity gauge or should I buy another one?

When we bought this place a few years back, the owners left it. The man had a lot of lung problems and they used it to make sure the humidity stayed high enough.

Do you think it would be accurate enough, or should I get another?

PS: I am going to build a bator following Miss Prissy's design, so that's what it will be used in.
