Is there any way to get my girls to sit on the eggs or do I just have to wait?

You have to wait until they become broody. How many eggs did they lay so far???

You're going to have to wait. Some breeds never want to sit, and if they sit, it is usually after they are one year old. There are always exceptions though. To encourage sitting, you can leave eggs in the nest.
