A week ago my 5 girls moved into their new coop. It is bigger than the old, easier to clean....but one of my girls has only laid 1 egg in 7 days. Before the move she had 4-5 eggs/week. My other 4 have not changed their egg laying. Can it be the coop change? I felt her vent area and everything seems normal there so I don't think she is egg bound - everything else is normal, she eats, moves, acts normal, but she was also the most nervous at night time in the new coop.

Just keep an eye on her for a bit longer - and make sure she's getting some extra boost, like electrolytes. A dose of Nutridrench or poultry vitamins for a bit wouldn't hurt any of them and may make all the difference in her stress level ... and yours!

Do you free range?

They have a big coop/ run combo 20x10 ft and when I am home I let them out and have half of the yard. For the past 2 days I left them inside just to make sure she isn’t laying somewhere else and I checked all possible hiding places
