Hi everyone! sorry I haven't posted anything for a while... I ve been quite busy, but all 3 of the chicks hatched on Monday! and they are very healthy! I would have pics to show, but I just had surgery, so my mom won't let me out there. people have been bringing them in for me to see. 2 are girls and 1 is a boy. and they look just like momma! they all have 5 toes like she does, and they are fluffy like her! i'll post pics hopefully soon!

Silke/Bantams make great mums! One of ours just hatched her fifth little chick today, and she's sitting on 9 eggs. Great little mother, determined and didn't get flustered by us or other chooks at all, also very protective. Good luck with your little chickies!
