can my chicken eat tadpoles ?

so how are the tadpoles going to eat......? I have a lose fiting" aluminum screened "lid "on that barrel now I guess enough mosquioetes are getting thru.. Only thing to really keep out mosquites is a tight fitting fabric o rT shirt with seed together slleves and neckline) belted or tied around barrel.. cause from some experience with rain barrel and reading etc about such stuff .... the mosquitoes, will go thru window screening whether aluiminum or fiberglass screening..

Tadpoles are going to eat algae, detritus and smaller zooplankton. I doubt they will get much nutrition by consuming the mosquitos in their aquatic lifestages.

I like giving my chicken tadpoles from my pond especially chirpy, the 5-year-old road island red I have.
