I have three pekin ducklings each at 3 weeks old. They are doing well with leg strength and are staying healthy in general. When I First got them, my local Walmart still had bags of brewers yeast in the pharmacy department and I’ve been giving them about a tablespoon per 6oz if mix. They have the DuMor poultry starter feed for now. I‘m really close to the bottom of my brewers yeast bag and my Walmart no longer carries it because of COVID19 concerns. Ugh. In order to order it over amazon with prime, it is considered unessential and will take five days to get here. I have enough to go for another three days but I’m worried about the last two days they won’t have any. Will they be okay? If not, what should I do in those two days?

Ask your local buy nothing group to see if your neighbors have any to get you thru. Maybe Facebook marketplace as well. Would feed stores have it? I would imagine so if it’s essential to ducks. If all else fails, look up foods high in niacin you can give them.

what about human niacin tablets?? I’m sorry if this isn’t much help. I have no experience with ducks

Ducklings in the wild, don't get Walmart brewers yeast, do they?

We are talking about Pekins which grow almost twice as fast as your wild bantam breeds, ducks in the wild are able to forage more, and eat highly nutritious insects/fish/vegetation.
