Can my ducks eat bread?

I've been seeing and reading a lot of things about how people shouldn't be feeding wild ducks their old stale bread. I understand the reasoning behind that, but what about my flock of ducks at home? We give them our leftover bread, not ever an excessive amount. And we obviously still have them on their poultry feed all day. What are everyone's thoughts?

I think it has to do with feeding them enough bread that they don't eat much of their feed, so bread every once in a while should be fine

Impacted crops can happen and bread has no nutritional value to Ducks...
