Can my Ducks go out side yet?

My white Pekin's are 6 weeks old and they have been without the heat lamp for a few weeks now. They have most of their feathers (they are only missing a few wing feathers, some back feathers and a little on the back of their necks) and are temps here in SE Texas are in the 70's during the day and 50's at night.

How safe will they be?

They have a secure coop to go in and when I say 50's I mean high 50's.

Right on the edge based on the countdown from 90F the first week (drop 5 degrees a week). Have you had them outside during the day? How do they seem?

I have let them outside during the day several times and they have been fine. But the day time temp is not something I'm worried about cuz it is about the same temp it has been in my house.

My 10 Welsh Harlequins went outside at 3.5 weeks and didn't have an issue.

My Khaki Campbells and Blue Swedish went outside at 3.5 weeks and are thriving. I am located north of Coleman Texas between Coleman and Abilene so our weather is, while variable, cooler than you are having. They should be fine so long as they have shelter at night.
