Can my hen raise guinea keets

Okay thanks, I will most likely be buying around 5 and letting a broody or incubator hatch them, any other tips and tricks when it comes to Guineas? Any behaviours when it comes to gentle breeds like silkies?

If you are buying eggs to hatch I would go for at least 8 eggs to hatch. I've had 100% hatches but usually there are a few eggs that don't hatch. I usually recommend that my customers start with at least 5 or 6 keets.

Don't attempt to hatch both chicks and keets beneath the same hen. Guineas keets require 28 days to hatch verses only 21 days for chicks. So if you set both chicken and guineas eggs under a hen the hen will be ready to abandon the nest before the guinea eggs even begin to hatch.

What amount of birds do you recommend, will 4-6 or more like 8-10, I do not feel like I will have the space for the later amount
