We have been finding a couple of eggs outside, that are green waxxy and a rounded top. We are pretty posotive that our only two muscovys are drakes. We are also pretty sure that the wild pacific black duck is laying the eggs. The drake (99.9%) sure was sitting on two eggs when all the other fowl was gone foraging because it was early morning. Im not sure if he thinks that he is responsible to incubate the eggs or if he is really sick. Any one can help, thanks in advance. P.s Their is now four eggs under him and I have seen no mating.
but im getting up in 10 mins (4:50am) to see who is laying the eggs. I thought it was him but know I think it is wild ducks cause im pretty sure that he is a male duck.
but she didn't try to peck them or anything
