Can olive oil be used to flush a ducks system?

I really wouldn't think olive oil will help with hardware disease. You're wanting to get it through her system fast? In this link there is some info. Whether it works I don't know.
Getting her to a vet would be best they can do Xrays to try and locate if it's metal. And treat accordingly.

Please take her to a vet fast,she isn’t likely to survive with some sort of metal or copper in her system,respiratory disease if,may get worse if your not treating her with the necessities.

Olive oil is usually used for an impacted crop and try to help things moving along. It could potentially help pass what ever is causing the hardware disease. Depending on what it is, it may need to be removed by a vet.

If it is another toxin, activated charcoal helps with toxic plants.

Unless you physically saw her consuming foreign metal; there is absolutely no way to be sure that this is the underlying issue at play. In the case that it would be, Calcium EDTA and aggressive fluid administration would be my suggestion.

Until you can get her to a vet, work at keeping her inside a warm/quiet room, and ensure she is getting plenty of fluids inside her. Electrolytes added to her water dish would not be a bad idea. Best of luck.

Calcium EDTA will be a good option.I’ve been researching about it for her duck since morning and this is the best link I could find.
The dosage and use is prescribed her.Also the side effects.

Sc calcium borogluconate or calcium gluconate has proven effective results in these cases.Yet it can only be given to your duck by the prescription of your vet, but if it is not suitable for your duck according to where the metal has reached by now then surgery or enthunasia will be the best option in my opinion.

You can get calcium gluconate at farm supply stores in the US without a prescription and with regards to poultry it's generally used for egg laying issues. Its used in livestock for magnesium toxicity, but usually you administer when there is a calcium deficiency with high potassium levels. Calcium EDTA is a much stronger chelating agent used to flush metal toxins. You can order Calcium EDTA online or find at a health food/ supplement store.
But, without knowing the true reason for the duck having issues, all suggested remedies could be a mute point.
