Hello,

Just added two quails eggs into the incubator along with some chicken eggs. Will that be ok even though it might hatch a few days later? Not sure which egg its from because I have some of the Valley Quail with the Northern Bobwhites and the egg is like a chicken egg color, brown with dark brown spots. EXACLTY like a normal chicken egg, just 1/8th the size. Haha.

Anyways, that shouldn't be a problem correct?

I have mixed eggs (button quail and chickens) in the incubator, but, I would suggest either using a seperate hatcher, or timing everything so that they hatch at the same time. The seperate hatcher would be easier though, so that you don't have monster chickies stomping on your tiny quail during hatch.

Whoops... He had a duplicate and I answered the "unanswered posts"

basically said the same thing but also added that the eggs were valley quail since the bobwhite eggs are white. Also bobwhite take about as long as chickens to begin to lay and the valley quail should be about 6-8 weeks...
