Can Oxine be used effectively in a humidifier?

Oh my gosh! That video of the hen was so helpful; it really raised my spirits. My little guy is bad but not as bad as she. I have to hold him right up near my ear to hear his gurgling. Im expecting the Oxine to arrive tomorrow from Revival through Amazon. I have a humidifier and I will use it as night and hold him for periodic direct misting during the day.

My main concern is how a humidifier appears to work. I know nothing about foggers. I do know that when water with minerals such as sea water is vaporized using heat energy pure, drinkable water is formed. That was my concern with using a heat generation devise for putting the Oxine into the air, that all that might be emitted from the humidifier would be pure H20 and the Oxine components would be left to crystallize in the bottom of the humidifier. I will give it a try in any case and using both daytime misting and night time humidifying I hope to knock this problem out pronto!
