I have 9 Bourbon Reds that are over a year old, and I just got 7 peachicks a few weeks ago, and they are over a month old, some are 3 months old. I am building a breeder coop, and plan to make an 20 ft wide by 20 ft long pen for the turkeys and peafowl. The peak of the roof will be 12 ft high. And plan to put them together when winter comes around. Thanks for any advice.

I know just about nothing about peafowl.. but I hatched some Royal Palm turkeys at the same time as I hatched 6 peachicks. 1 peachick and 4 turkeys have been living together for about 3 months with no ill effects..

how long can I expect the peafowl to live ?? I heard 20 years is common.. ??

My Peas, chickens and 2 ducks have been together for a year and no one is sick (knock on wood).

I was told that they cannot be together during breeding season as the turkeys males will fight with the Peacocks
