Can pigeons switch lofts?

Ive had my pigeons for about 2 weeks now and they've been in one loft, and I started letting them out a couple days ago and they do well. I just completed a new, better loft, and I was wondering if they'd be able to switch over to that one, about 50ft away from the other. Thanks!

Should be able to. I've seen that question asked and answered [in the affirmative] on another forum. :D Key to success is the lofts are close. Example backyard to sideyard.

Should be not much of a problem.

Your situation brings to mind and opportunity to teach your birds to home to 2 different locations. This is done by supplying feed and water in one loft and nesting opportunity in another. After the routine is established you begin moving the second loft away. You can eventually have them homing to 2 different locations that are miles apart.

Yes! Thanks. It worked, they returned to the new loft yesterday, but I'm going to keep them in there for a couple days to make sure they're all settled in.
