Can quail eat this?

We use to have hamsters and they have all passed, can I toss a handful in once in a while for the quail to forage around for?

Also,
Will they eat sunflower seeds? I am planting some sunflowers with my kids, will the quail eat the seeds or are they too big. I may sprout some, but can I also feed raw?

they can eat sunflower seeds. It would be better to remove the shells to make it easier for them. if they won't eat them you can try crushing them. otherwise, they're perfectly edible for them!

I can't read all the ingredients in the hamster food, but quail do like millet. A lot of it looks too big, though. Maybe someone else can help better.

As for sunflower seeds, my quail enjoy them if there is no shell or if I remove the shell for them. Sometimes I help break them up, too.

They can, and it seems like a nice treat for them. You probably already know this, but don't go overboard on treats for them.
