can rabbits eat these?

Quote:
Give him some twigs from a mulberry or willow tree. Mine loved them. I would cut them into foot long pieces. The willow I would cut really long and wrap it into a wreath. They absolutely love willow.

i have bred and raised rabbits from alaska to florida for 30 plus years

, i have ( knock on wood) never lost a bunny to illness or disease, my oldest bunny was a holland lop who lived to be 11 yrs old, That being said, RABBITS ARE VERY SMART, THEY WILL NOT EAT WHAT THEY DO NOT LIKE,
so try them on a little squash and see how they like it, however I would always use veggies in small quantities, as they only truely good things for them is fresh orchard or timothy hay which should always be available and a high quality pellet, which I have always free fed, and plenty of fresh cold water,
I feed mine alot of dandilion ,chick week and even branches from my hazelnut tree which is great for their teeth as well, but with other fresh store bought or garden grown veggies, low amounts each day is best, and please remember carrots is an old wives tale, they love them but too many is not good for them either
Hope this helps! I love this sight, it helps me so much and once in a while I can help too!.
