Can roos break eggs before they're laid?

I'm guessing yes - especially in our case as we have a LF roo going after our banty silkies and hamburgs. Ana brought Boggart to me, showed me her vent and asked if she was ok. It looked like an egg yolk dripping from her vent; no sign of an egg shell. Boggart is acting fine ... seems normal to me. Ana gave her a bath and cleaned her up. Is there anything we should watch for?

They sometimes lay shell-less eggs, perhaps this is what you saw? I suppose the roos could break the eggs though, I just have never thought about it.
