Can Roosters go "Mad"

I must nip this statement in bud. Behavior reported is not typical of gamecocks. I keep them, chickenandchick you do not. Make effort to keep comments in realm of your expereince.
The statement about game cocks being dangerous is not completely wrong. Any rooster, regardless of breed, can be dangerous. I keep game chickens and standard chickens and bantams. Any rooster can become dangerous if provoked or teased. I aquired a RIR rooster once in a trade that could not be around people without attacking. I also have a Goode Grey Gamecock that acts like a pup around people, following and wanting attention.

I've had a leghorn cockerel kill a hen before, but I've also had two hens attack a rooster who was harassing them, they knocked him over and tore up his comb before I could stop 'em.

they were big ole New Hampshires, though.

I had an Americauna rooster who was violent, he attacked dogs, people, peacocks, and even a cow! We had to eat him when he almost killed his own offspring.

His son, a austrolorpXamericauna rooster, used to fight blue jays.

Neither of my badly behaving roosters were game. I notice the game act quite gallantly toward the hen, the hen actually chooses the stag. I've seen them attempt to feed chicks if the broody would let them close enough. They are easy to tame, and seem to enjoy an ear rub if not distracted by other fowl. Have not yet had a stag put one foot wrong toward me, or anyone, including kids.
