Anyone that has a private pond, a river or some other body of water by their house that your ducks go into to swim. Be sure you check the water for any snapping turtles before you let your ducks swim. I am not talking about box turtles that you put in your garden. These snapping turtles grow big enough to take full grown ducks under and kill them
. I am taking care of a problem behind my house in our river right now. I have had many of my ducks killed by these snapping turtles. We bought a floating trap that is catching several of them, all you do to find one is google snapping turtle traps. Before you dispose of the turtles call your local game and fish dept. You do not want to let these nasty turtles into another body of water, if you do they will start to kill there also. Ask the Game and Fish dept. what to do with them. They might come out and get them from you. DO NOT PUT YOUR DUCKS IN WATER THAT HAS SNAPPING TURTLES!!!
