Can Silkies fly?

I have recently heard that Silkies can't fly is that true?

True. They can not fly. Some get a little air under their wings when they jump, but that is mostly youngsters.

We have some Red Silkies that can jump pretty good, 4 Ft high but not fly just jump.

It is only because they grew up with others Salmon Faverolles, Leghorns Etc, that jumped up to the roost so they developed that trait as well.
