I’m using my previous chicken run for my new Bobwhite quail. Does anyone know how long you should wait or what you should do so the quail don’t get sick from the chickens. Do I need to lay sod over everything to cover the ground? I had chickens in this space for years so at what point do I know I’m ok that my quail are safe from contacting something. ( they are is a separate section and my last chicken just passed from old age so I wanted to open that section up to them and start planting)
