I keep finding these itty bitty teeny weeny somethings crawling on my phone screen. Started about 7 to 8 days ago I had noticed one again about 5 days ago two or three of them, today within a 15 minute period of time 7 of them. After I killed the first six the seventh one I finally put under my scope and this is at the max magnification that it would possibly go to I hope these pictures are well enough that you can help me to identify these so I can properly treat my gals and my boy! I have woken up for the third morning in a row with multiple bites around my neck & ears, My husband woke up last week with multiple bites that are identical to those in which I have been waking up with. Extremely extremely itchy!

Those look like mites which such blood and cause anemia. Permethrin garden dust or ready to use spray can kill them. You can get the Gordons or Martins Permethrin 10 concentrate, which has to be diluted with water 1 tsp per quart of water, and that can be used on chickens in hot weather, or inside the coop after removing all bedding. Some use the more expensive Elector PSP found online.

I have elector PSP Will that work for these?! And do I just do the same type of spraying that I did for when I got it for Lice/louse?
Do you know if these are northern fowl mites or?
And do you know if they bite humans because we have all kinds of bites on us.

Yes, the mites can get on humans. Yes, the Elector PSP will kill the mites. Northern Fowl mites are one the chickens 24/7 while the common red roost mite only come on the chickens at night, and hide in the cracks of the coop during daylight hours.

Thank you once again...you have helped me to save my kids (chickens. Hubby and I are empty nested {pun intended} so our lil flock are our kids😂). I am so grateful to this group and to all those who participate and help those of us who find ourselves going out of our minds not knowing what to do! I can't even count on both hands the lives your advice has helped me to save! God Bless you all! Thank you for your time, efforts and passion in caring enough to do what you do!

Is it safe to spray PSP inside my house? I know it's made for agriculture, but I'm asking personal opinions on the best and fastest way to rid of them from inside my home! Still too this day we have 1 gal my hubby brings inside every single morning as he's heading of to work (although she has been good n healthy for over a year...just extremely spoiled!) and places her in my living room on her lil bed where she sleeps until daylight then comes in my bedroom to wake me to let her out to go lay her egg. Needless to say, they are all over my house! I understand it's not made for nor supposed to be used for this purpose which is why I'm asking for personal suggestions. Had no idea they would mess infest my home after treating the girls (and not boy) but it makes sense how it happens...Beings the chicken is now poison to them and are jumping off seeking a new host. My flock is healthy and well, but my house is a whole other story...WOW!
