we dispatched a mean SLW roo yesterday (I know some may not agree, but an animal only gets 1 chance to hurt one of my children!). I also dispatched a 4 week old cornish x last week (leg problem). I'm looking for some help in identifying the organs I pulled out of them. Of course I know intestines, heart, liver, gall bladder (green, on liver), gizzard, lungs. There were also, in the rooster 2 large (slightly bigger than the heart), pale organs. In the cc there was 1 large pale organ that had an opening. I'm wondering if the roos organs were kidneys? do chickens have kidneys? What different organs am I going to find in the females than the males (how do I identify them)? I had the mm heavy roos last year, and my cc this year are staight run.
