So meat birds have been bred so that they grow very fast and very big. If you don't kill them at a certain point, they will slowly die because they can't support their quickly growing bodies and their structure.

dont think they are meat birds, they look pretty small not chunky like a cornish x

I hope you’re right! I’ve never kept meat birds, so I am on the fence about it.

they arent meat birds, especially not the kind that would have health problems, these are cornish
x. they were most likely dumped at the park because they were cockerels.

That situation isn't really fair. Chickens are meant to be outside. They won't get what they need on a balcony. But if @LizzzyJo is correct that they are meat birds, then I don't think they will live long. Sorry

do they have white earlobes? if so they are leghorns i cant really tell by the pics. they are definitely not meat birds though

They look like white rocks. They are definitely unhealthy and dirty. Feed themxx CX and care for them as much as you can. If it’s possible you should try to find a farm for them.

Hi, thank you for the reply.
They are both around 6 months old. I’ve been feeding them with vegetables, chopped sweet corns and chopped oysters shell. I’ve been told that they look really small for their age.
