That is just so sadSo meat birds have been bred so that they grow very fast and very big. If you don't kill them at a certain point, they will slowly die because they can't support their quickly growing bodies and their structure.
I hope you’re right! I’ve never kept meat birds, so I am on the fence about it.dont think they are meat birds, they look pretty small not chunky like a cornish x

Yes I know living in the balcony isn’t ideal for them at all. I took them home just because I really love chicken and can’t stand the thought of them killed by cats in the park. It would be nice if I could find a farm for them.That situation isn't really fair. Chickens are meant to be outside. They won't get what they need on a balcony. But if @LizzzyJo is correct that they are meat birds, then I don't think they will live long. Sorry![]()
