Okay, so this is probably really simple, but I'm obviously an utter dunce

I'm selling an old trike on eBay. I also bought it from eBay, about a month ago

In the listing I'm making up now, I'm trying to include a link to the previous listing where I bought it

But when I copy-and-paste the URL from the address bar at the top of the original listing page...

...it just shows as black type on my new listing page, and not as a blue clickable link.

So what am I doing wrong?

Go to the ad. Left click on the picture.
It will enlarge.
Right click. A list will come up. Left click "save picture as"
, and send to pictures to documents or pictures.
Now you have the pic on your computer.
You can do this on all the pics you want.

When you make your ad, ebay will ask for pics.
Left click on the "upload" or "browse" button, forgot what they called it.
Left click on documents or pictures to find picture.
. Left click on the picture and then open. It will go to the ebay site on your ad.
You can repeat this.

Hey Gypsy07... do this:

when you're listing, and you get to the description.... click on "HTML veiw" or something like that..... you should be able to see what you have typed already, but with bits of code around it.... it may not have the code, if not, it doesnt matter.... go to where you want to put the link.... and put this in: from "<a......" to "....</a>"

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290611502044"> Original Auction and Description </a>

that should work.... lemme know if you you hit any snaggs
