That's wild, the last pic especially shows a tail I would not call male.

Honestly he’s completely stumped me.
My husband was brought up around chickens, his mum used to breed them but he’s got no idea.
All the lady I had them off said was she bought some eggs that were sold as bantam warrens and she let her silkies hatch them.
I’ll see if I can get a pic of the other that came with him but she’s defiantly different to him

Ah ha! I found something for you. They ARE a red sexlink! How they got bantams, it's hard to tell. I would almost wonder if that isn't a hen that has learned to crow, as that does sometimes happen.

Is your other one mostly white? That one would be a male.

No she’s brown with black tail feathers, I’m going to shut down shortly so I’ll get a pic.

It does happen occasionally, sometimes when there's no male around one will take up crowing and become very dominant, and will even mount other hens. I can't remember for sure as it didn't interest me that much, but there may have been a hormonal component too.

He does mount other hens but he’s with another cockerel who is very domanent over him and prob twice his size

How bizarre. They must be young yet, under 4 months I'd say.
