Can someone please help??

I have received a couple of responses thinking it could be mites, we have treated for mites with earth dust on them, cleaned the coop and dusted, put in their dust baths, we are at a loss; any other ideas on what we could do if it is mites?
I’ve been doing all those things with my chickens and still have them currently after many weeks unfortunately. I feel that you would probably notice them by now though if they were severe enough to make them pluck their feathers, so it’s probably not mites then

I actually didn’t see mites at first in my chickens, I had them crawling on me when I went to get eggs...it was nasty. Another thought, since you don’t think it’s then pecking at each other, it could be they aren’t getting enough protein. Chickens will eat feathers if they aren’t getting enough. What are you feeding them currently?

We feed them grower finisher, oyster shells, grit and a treat each day of corn, cabbage or some of the different bagged treats made for chickens.

Hopefully that spray works, if not (and maybe also just to try in addition) you could feed them 20% protein feed for a while and see if it doesn’t help. It’s possible with the addition of the treats they aren’t getting enough protein from their feed? I don’t really know myself, but it couldn’t hurt to try when you run out of your next bag of feed or before.

Either way they will need some extra protein for a while to grow back their feathers if the spray does work. You could also make the treats protein ones instead of getting new feed

It is boredom in a smallish space.
They groom each other bald.
It happens here if im late opening the coop or the weather keeps them close together.
Really all you can do is zinc oxide the bald spots until they stop or pinless peeper everybody.:)

Thank you for your response, they eat a lot of the food, but I do have some layer pellets that I can try, we typically use the crumbles because they are what our scissor beak can eat.
