Can Someone Please ID My Peachick?

Finally hatched out my first peachick EVER - very hard won as absolutely every single chick so far has been dead in shell with very advanced development (I really don't know what I'm doing wrong?)

This little fellow's daddy is a white peacock and his mummy was either a straight Indian Blue, or an Indian Blue with a couple of white feathers on her neck.

I get ever so confused with pieds and splits, so would be grateful if someone could tell me what he is. (or she, no idea how to sex at this age).

PS He has a hobble brace on his legs as he had spraddle leg after hatching, but is doing great now.

Are you able to tell by looking at him whether his mum was a straight IB or the one with the couple of white feathers on her neck?

With all the white he /she has the mother must be a dark pied, that means they have very little white but still carry the pied gene.
baby will most likely grow up like mom with minimal white.

Your pied is so beautiful. Mine is due to hatch. I have been trying for years but never had a success but this time i hoping for little babies.
Can you guide me about the humidity, my first egg is due to hatch and others have weeks to hatch so if i increase the humidity for 1st egg would it affect the others who are still at early stages.

My apologies for not responding earlier, I'm in Queensland, Australia and we've just had a major flooding event, so no phone or internet for over a week.

This is my one and only peachick this season, I'm doing something horribly wrong as every other one has died fully developed in shell, so it's lovely to get an idea of what he may look like when he grows up. He's doing really well so far, but I've heard that the first six months are difficult, so am keeping him very coddled!
