HI everyone,
I’m currently hatching my first lot of chicken eggs. I have 4 eggs in a seven egg incubator two of which are lighter and the other two are a bit darker considering they are from two different breeds of bantams. At the moment I am on day 16, and have just candled all of them. When I previously candled then 3 or 4 days ago, they all looked similar ( a medium black blob in the egg which was moving). But today, the black blob in the two lighter coloured eggs has developed and got a bit bigger, however the darker coloured eggs are now pretty much black a part from the air cell which only transmits light through. What does this mean ???? Help appreciated
