I think that bacteria could be a large part of the problem. When chicks hatch it can leave a lot of it and incubation conditions are great for bacteria. Bacteria can invade eggs at any time, killing them and get into the navals of newly hatched chicks, killing them in a few days. This is called mushy chick syndrome. Likely the bacteria left behind after your successful hatches has been sabotaging your later hatches.

Another option is the float test if you can't find a light to candle.

Place the egg in a cup of warm water. Fully developed eggs should only have the upper air cell above water. Once the egg and water settle, watch for movement. A live egg will wiggle in the water. DO NOT DO THIS WITH PIPPED EGGS.

i just did the float test with an egg and it was rotating and moving around the cup.

bought some antibacterial soap and clean the incubator.tomorrow some go lockdown.hope we get some to hatch. (knock on wood)
