Quick question.....I have 6 4wk old chicks and 2 4wk old ducklings. They have outgrown the playpen I have them in inside my home. I was wondering if it would be ok to move them to a garage inside a dog kennel with a heating lamp. They have most of their feathers and I haven't been using the heating lamp for the last week or so. But since it is still cold here, I would certainly use it in the garage. Would appreciate someone's input on this. thanks [IMG]

You can move them anywhere you like as long as you can keep them warn enough. At this age it's usually better to have them outside as they get terribly messy! In another 2 weeks ± they shouldn't need the extra heat so much, except maybe at night if it's really cold where you are.
