Why take a chance? Is it the only spot in the entire kitchen where you have room for an egg carton?
Well, so far its the only spot in my kitchen none of the 5 toddlers in my house can easily get to/ havent discovered them yet. My fridge top is too high for me to even reach and is covered by a shelf, all my bedroom surfaces are covered in incubators, and the bathroom is not a kid free zone, sooo, the micro seemed the safest place since the cabinets hang over it so close to its top that the carton is kinda hard to see. (but enough room that the eggs are getting lots of air circulation and hand turning). We dont use the micro more than 2 minutes, really just to heat water for tea, but I was concerned nontheless.
