Can they be with chickens?

I keep mine together. Sid my hand raised peacock from last year grew up with 12 RIR chicks. The only "issue" I've had and it really isn't an issue its kind of nice. Is that Piper my orignal peacock stays with his 2 hens in the laying coop. Well I don't have any roosters in there. Occasionally one will get in and recently I noticed that Piper keeps them at bay. He won't let the rooster near any hens. LOL

I saw that, the protazoa is a little worm and if a earthworm eats it then a chicken, turkey, or what ever can get the disease

My peahens hang out with the chickens, eat and drink from the chickens' feeder and waterer. In the winter the peas stay in the chicken coop to keep warm. I have never wormed nor had any diseases. My chickens and peas eat only organic feed plus organic kitchen scraps. That helps to keep them healthy, as well as putting fresh bedding down in the coop every day.

I just wouldn't put them together while the peas or the chickens were young. I'd wait till they were at least a year old.
