Can they do good with just free ranging and snacks

I have 6 chickens and they are all bantams except one Cornish cross. The chicks were started on some kind of food that Pratt’s Pets suggested, well that ran out and ever since then for about the last 5 months they have just been free-ranging in the yard and we give them treats like watermelon and oatmeal. Is this enough for them to be happy and healthy? If not what would I need to get them!

They need chicken food. They won’t get enough nutrients from just free ranging and being give treats that don’t benefit them in growing and staying healthy.
Layer feed if you have all ladies
All flock if you have boys and girls

You haven't been giving them any chicken feed for the last 5 months?

They haven’t started yet, but I looked it up and there not old enough yet

At five months without food, and using up one bag before that, they must be close to 6 months old. For bantams, that is laying age. They may not be laying because they don’t have the proper food provided.

You said they were bantams. The buff orpington bantam and Easter Egger bantams are laying age.
