can they eat anything else?

I have 34 8 week old chicks , can i feed them some scratch on coop or outside pen floor yet?

Sure, just make sure they have access to grit. And you don't want to offer so much scratch that they don't eat their regular chicken feed, which has the protein they need for their still rapid growth. Chick starter should still form the major part of their diet.
